Helping a Child With Cerebral Palsy Feel More Comfortable

We brought Hudson to Pacific Pointe Chiropractic because he has cerebral palsy and is visually impaired, and we were struggling with ongoing tightness in his neck and arms, digestion issues, and especially sleep. With all the therapies Hudson does, his muscles tend to stay contracted, and his body often felt tight and uncomfortable. As a mom, I could tell his body was working so hard, and I just wanted to help him feel better. From our very first visit, I felt confident we were in the right place.

Within about two weeks of care, we noticed a huge change, especially with sleep. Hudson was no longer waking up for two to three hours in the middle of the night and began sleeping through. We were even able to decrease his sleep medications, which was such a big win for our family. Along with better sleep, we also saw improvements in digestion and muscle recovery.

Hudson has also experienced relief in his back and arms, with less pressure and tightness overall, even with his spasticity. But most importantly, he truly enjoys coming in for care. He knows the days we come, asks to come, and feels comfortable and happy here. Seeing him enjoy his care just as much as the benefits we’ve seen has been incredibly special for our family, and we are so grateful for Dr. G and the role this care continues to play in Hudson’s life.
