Better Speech, Better Sleep, and More Emotional Regulation

My name is Paloma, and my son Leon is four years old. We first came to Pacific Pointe Chiropractic because he was struggling with severe meltdowns. His speech wasn’t very developed, and he would break down emotionally because he couldn’t communicate. He would also elope at times, and everything felt overwhelming for him and for us.

Within just three weeks of starting care, the meltdowns didn’t completely disappear, but they improved so much. It honestly felt overnight. His speech improved, and he started putting sentences together. He began sleeping better, became calmer, and more patient. When I say no now, it’s not the end of the world. I can see it in his eyes, he sits, looks at me, waits for my direction, and follows through. That alone has been incredible.

Now he’s constantly calling for me, pointing, explaining, and showing me what he’s doing. He’s communicating in ways he never did before. It’s been so exciting to watch him grow and regulate, and I’m so grateful for the changes we’ve seen in such a short time.
